Standard Cleaning (Every Visit)

Bathrooms

  • Replace towels with clean ones
  • Check sink and shower drains for hair or clogs
  • Clean faucets
  • Clean shower
  • Make sure hand soap is available
  • Mop floor
  • Remove any trash from space and empty trash bins
  • Scrub the toilet
  • Spray and rinse shower and shower curtain
  • Sweep/mop or vacuum
  • Wipe down windows/ window sills
  • Check for leftover items (leftover items will be left in the garage)

Bedrooms

  • Replace sheets and linens
  • Check for leftover items (leftover items will be left in the garage)
  • Remove any trash from space and empty trash bins
  • Sweep/vacuum/mop space (including under the bed)
  • Wipe outside dressers/ tables
  • Wipe down windows/ window sills

Exterior of Property

  • Shake out “Welcome” mats

Kitchen

  • Check the refrigerator for leftover food or messes
  • Clean out crumbs or other messes from cabinets
  • Clean faucets
  • Clean and replace kitchen towels
  • Clean sink
  • Empty/run dishwasher as needed
  • Make sure hand soap is full
  • Remove any trash from space and empty trash bins
  • Wipe down counters
  • Sweep/mop or vacuum
  • Wipe down windows/ windowsills

Laundry Room/Utility Room

  • Check and clean up any detergent spills
  • Check that laundry baskets are clean and ready for use
  • Check for leftover items
  • Remove dryer lint
  • Wipe down exterior of washer and dryer 
  • Sweep/mop or vacuum
  • Wipe down windows/ window sills

Living/Family Room

  • Dust/wipe any furniture and high-touch surfaces
  • Check closets for leftover items
  • Remove any trash from space and empty trash bins
  • Sweep/mop or vacuum space (including under couches and tables)
  • Wipe down windows/ window sills

Other

  • Notify host of any issues (leaky faucets, broken items, etc) and potentially provide a temporary solution if possible.
  • Notify host of items in need of a restock
  • Restock if necessary:
      • Coffee/tea
      • Snacks
      •  Dish soaps/hand soaps
      • Sponges
      • Laundry detergent
      • Napkins/paper towels
      • Toiletries (shampoo/ conditioner/ body wash)
      • Trash bags
      • etc

Deep Cleaning (Every 1-2 Months)

Everything in Standard, plus:

  • Check plumbing and faucets throughout property
  • Check for and replace any burnt light bulbs (within reach)
  • Empty and thoroughly clean/ disinfect all cabinets
  • Deep clean and disinfect the fridge
  • Deep clean and disinfect the oven
  • Empty and thoroughly clean/ disinfect all dressers and drawers
  • Wipe baseboards
  • Clean window tracks
  • Detail clean blinds
  • Extra attention to shower & bath
  • Clean all vents
  • Hard to clean areas (behind/under hard to reach areas)
  • Clean reachable ceiling fans
  • Wipe down doors
  • Sweep outside patios and walkways
  • Wipe down/ disinfect patio furniture
